Share Your Untold Lamoni Story
Help us preserve the personal histories that make our community unique
Your Stories Matter
Every family, every business, every individual who has called Lamoni home has stories worth preserving. These personal histories often reveal the most authentic and meaningful aspects of our community's heritage.
The Untold Lamoni Stories project is our effort to collect, document, and preserve these personal accounts for future generations. Whether it's memories of growing up on Main Street, running a local business, or participating in community traditions, your story is an important part of Lamoni's larger narrative.
What We're Looking For
- Family histories: Stories passed down through generations
- Business memories: Tales from local shops, farms, and enterprises
- Community events: Recollections of festivals, celebrations, and gatherings
- Daily life: What it was like growing up or living in different eras
- Local characters: Memorable individuals who shaped the community
- Traditions: Customs and practices unique to our area
